The archipelago of Los Roques is an amazing natural paradise and maintains its original beauty and charm of the place of the islands and little lost. Getting here means forget the world and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean: sun, sand and sea are the only companions of an unforgettable vacation.

The Los Roques National Park is inhabited mainly by fishermen and tour operators (innkeepers), but the population grows very consistently during the summer and winter with the arrival of tourists who decide to discover the unspoilt nature and crystal waters.

During the last ten years have seen a steady stream of foreign (mostly Italian) who have chosen to live in the archipelago of the opening of their houses (inns) and adapted for hotel use.

"Criolla" cooking arepas and empanadas Los Roques specialties (we recommended to test the Doña Carmen kiosk), fried plantains, rice, beans and fresh fish (grouper, snapper, kingfish, barracuda) and lobster in its season.

The arrival of the Italian cuisine has enriched the "Criolla" with a fusion of Mediterranean and Caribbean. There are several restaurants, a pizzeria and you can eat sushi.
